Nowa Huta – since 1951 it has been the biggest quarter of Cracow which hides a lot of mysteries. This place is thought to be separated city by its inhabitants and it was built by communistic authorities and its aim was to settle it for labour people and mixed them with intellectual communities of Cracow. Tittle-tattle: Fidel Castro did not want to watch Wawel but Nowa Huta.
• The trail of leaders of the work - the trail of socialist realism, estates of Nowa Huta, Central Square, avenue of Roses, non-existent monument of Lenin
• Touring the metallurgical combinat - House of Memory of „Solidarity” and the Museum of Nowa Huta
• The Trail „Zadymiasz” – a place where the biggest anti national demonstrations took place
• Quarter Binczyce and Krzeslawice – church „Lord’s Ark ”. Residence of painter Jan Matejko, a great polish painter.
• Village Mogila – fort Mogila, mound of Wanda, convent of Cysters and church of St. Bartlomiej
• Quarter Mistrzejowice – fort Mistrzejowice and Batowice, church of St. Maksymilian Maria Kolbe and many, many more places...
